In 1995, Kate graduated from the university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math, and right away started her career in the field of accounting and finance. She worked in various industries including transportation, manufacturing of medical devices, and food and beverage processing. After five years of combining full-time work with studies, in 2005, Kate received her CGA (now CPA) designation. In 2016 Kate also received her CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification.
